A Colouring Journey

Lisa Ladybug's
Enchanted Escape.

A colouring journey into a storybook world of grand halls and candlelight, where the woodland's smallest character finally takes the throne.

The enchanted escape

Every so often the woodland opens a door that was not there the day before, and on the other side is somewhere that runs on its own rules.

Lisa Ladybug's Enchanted Escape is that door. It is a colouring journey through a storybook world of grand halls, draped curtains and candlelight — a place you are invited into rather than told about.

There is no map to follow and no right way through. You turn the page, and the room is already waiting for you.

Lisa Ladybug, at her most regal

Lisa Ladybug is usually the quiet one — small, red, and holding the woodland together from the margins. In the Enchanted Escape she finally takes the throne.

Here she is crowned, masked and dressed in a gown of deep crimson, seated beneath chandeliers in a hall of columns and green drapes. A ladybug rests on the arm of her throne, as if to remind you who this really is.

It is the same character you meet elsewhere in the woodland, seen the way she might see herself: not small at all, but the centre of her own story.

What the colouring journey offers

Inside you will find whimsical characters, elegant dresses and playful companions, all drawn as black-and-white illustrations waiting for your hand.

There are hidden ladybugs tucked into the scenes for anyone patient enough to find them, and ornate details in the gowns, the furniture and the architecture for anyone who likes to work slowly.

Some pages are grand and busy. Some are quiet and simple. You can move between them in whatever order the mood takes you.

No rules about colour

The one instruction the Enchanted Escape does not give is what colour anything should be.

The gown does not have to be crimson. The drapes do not have to be green. The ladybug does not have to be red, though she would probably prefer it.

Colour it the way the story looks in your head. Make it dark and dramatic, or soft and strange, or something the original artist never imagined.

It is Lisa's escape. The colours are yours.
