ICBat Takes Flight: A New Colouring Book is Landing.
What happens when you take rare animals, mythical beasts and creatures pulled straight from the imagination... and give them bat wings?
That's the idea behind the first colouring book from ICBat, a digital artist from the online ICBat community of the same name.
His artwork explores unusual creatures both real and imagined, reshaping them through his own bat-inspired lens. Wings appear where nature definitely didn't put them, familiar forms become something stranger, and completely imaginary species sit comfortably alongside creatures from our own world.
Now that artwork is making the jump from digital art to something you can get your hands on.

And that's the fun of it.
There isn't a correct colour for a creature that probably doesn't exist.
Make it dark. Make it beautiful. Make it ridiculous. Give it colours nature would immediately file a complaint about.
They're ICBat's creatures. The colours are yours.
For ICBat, this is a first step into a different way of sharing his artwork. Instead of simply looking at a finished digital image on a screen, people can now interact with his designs, reinterpret them and create their own version of what he originally imagined.
